Green agriculture—— the necessities for human survival

In recent years, evils of conventional intensive agriculture cause more and more people’s attention, such as high cost, high pollution, and soil degradation. It also relies on nonrenewable resources heavily. In this case, the green agriculture production mode in European and American countries develops very quickly. However, opinions differ from person to person. Some people think that green agriculture is beneficial for protecting the environment, but the harvest is lower. Others believe that green agriculture might bring with more pressure on the environment.American scientists try to use different methods to plant apple, and the results show that green- planting means with higher output and better quality of the fruit gets much more harvest than other way’s. In a contrast test, it is showed that although green -planting means requires longer time to obtain high yield, other ways of harvest is flat at the end of the six-year-old test. And only green means in energy consumption and environmental impact is of the most advantageous aspects. In addition, apples by green way grown up taste much sweeter. A new achievement attained by American scientists indicated that advantages of green agriculture may be more than people had expected. But researchers also admit that it didn’t mean that in other regions green -planting means will also have the same result. Hence, it is required for more fully and extensive research. French ecological agriculture has made considerable progress in recent years. Farmers’ team is also growing in numbers. Because of the high prices of raw material, we need to have more labor. At present, ecological agriculture products costs higher prices than average ones, and even many products have no widely accepted by consumers. Therefore, experts insist that it is necessary to rely on technology progress and reduce the cost of ecological one, which is the fundamental way of developing green agriculture.
