2. The Memphis Rock ‘n’ Soul Museum. This museum is actually a branch of the Smithsonian and focuses on the history of the Memphis music scene. There are audio displays and exhibits which feature some authentic pieces such as a guitar that belonged to Elvis, bluesman Albert King’s suit and the motorbike that belonged to Sam the Sham.

3. Wild Bills. This famous nightspot features an extremely popular house band called the Hollywood All Stars that performs every Saturday night. It is said that this small joint rocks way into the night and is a must see for anyone visiting Memphis.

4. Beale Street. This popular strip of bars and clubs is where a great deal of the after-hours action is to be found in Memphis. The most popular attraction along the strip is BB King’s which features live blues music.
