By now you may have read some of the articles I have displayed on the Internet so I will forgo an introduction. If you have an interest in the technique and it’s development so you can Google it and know the history.
For those that follow each new article, this one is a pearl for you. As an athlete or a person in any walk of life, think of your body as a battleship. This concept was born from a military dad, that loved his son. He said son, after all my years in the military, I have experienced much. What I learned is that this life is precious, and your freedom during this life is my mission. My job is to assure you live a long life as your father has. Your body and mind is the vessel that will carry you through the years. It is a battleship. My job is to assure that your ship is in shape, and that you are always battle ready.
What I am suggesting here is that this lesson is one we all need to learn. As a person and individual with the great gift of freedom that this liberty and being born in the United Sates provides, we have an obligation to ourselves and others to know this. Not everyone in this nation has the capacity to understand what you have the blessing to know.
Your are a battleship. Your body is that ship and you have an obligation because of your good fortune to live in this free American Society keep it ready. Those also serve who sit and wait, and each of us in America sits and waits, ready to answer the call that freedom requires.
Keep in mind through out life that you have been blessed. I will not always be here with you but will provide the foundation for you to know that a long life contributes to the success in your life. A battleship that sinks no longer has value to the cause it was built for. What I am suggesting is that you as an individual understand that our lives in America is a trip on the high seas in what ever way we live it. I will not allow you to make that journey without my best advice.
So research the best battleships,. Know when you need to protect the ship, when you need to act and defend. Fortify, keep adding to your protective shield, be smart, and do not take on enemies in their waters. Flee, and do not be intimidated or afraid of flight. Plan after flight and devise an attack. Secure the deck. When ready after all peaceful and reasonable efforts have failed, attack swiftly and with purpose. Your body is a battleship. Always be ready and keep preparing. There will be battles. Live long and keep this in mind. Your Body is a Battleship. Stay ready.
This article was written for the pro athletes that read it till the end. It is meant for you. Never, allow a coach, a fellow team mate, a girl friend, or anyone that is involved in the game you play, to intimidate you though conversation, innuendo, mockery, or smear to wear less equipment to protect yourself than is available. It is your battleship you must protect. Wear a face mask in hockey, wear the best helmet in football with the best concussion proof qualities, wear every type of the best equipment ever made to protect your battleship. Look for better equipment. It is your battleship. Never enter a battle in unfamiliar waters, run from them. Our mission here is that you live a long life. Not just long but productive. You have serious, massive talent. It will extend beyond the playing field and the years you play. This message is to assure that.
