Yes, Personal Growth is an industry. Companies in Personal Growth do make money and build their business through profit…just like pretty much every other business venture in the world. The Personal Growth industry includes authors, speakers, coaches, healers, trainers, publishers, and online companies. These experts deliver content based on their area of expertise in the Personal Growth sector and share it with the wider world. Think of working with someone in the Personal Growth industry as taking a master class in You.You can experience the Personal Growth industry through books, audio courses, webinars, live seminars, and personal coaching. Whichever medium of learning and growing suits you, you’ll find it. In fact, one of the best things you can do for yourself is to discover how you learn the best: some people are auditory, some are visual, and some are kinesthetic. Once you determine which one(s) you are, then you can better understand how you can absorb the wealth of wisdom that’s available from people who have mastered a given area of life that you want to master. Remember, success leaves clues. If someone has a result, you too can have that same result, once you discover the blueprint to how they did it.And then there’s the Personal Growth movement. Social movements have a storied history around the world, and typically are a marker of some sort of societal discontent. Nowhere is that more apparent than with the surge in Personal Growth: we’re starting to see what’s possible when groups of like-minded people get together, declare what’s important to them, and commit to reaching goals and making improvements. It’s about being positive, proactive, and taking what I like to call “inspired action.”And by the way, the reason a Personal Growth movement developed in the first place is because people were hungry-starving even-for high-level change. The type of change that is not taught in schools, in homes, in the medical community, or in therapy.Take it from me. I grew up in an affluent area, and though my parents were rich in love, they struggled financially. I began to attach my self worth to my parents’ net worth, and at the same time, I also began to overeat to compensate for my feelings of inadequacy. And though I was a young entrepreneur, I also got in with the wrong crowd, which involved me in drinking, drugs, and other unhealthy behavior. I was arrested four times before graduating high school, and then ended up dropping out of college to take over my father’s business and start others. I found myself hitting rock bottom a short time later. I weighed 245 pounds, I’d been clinically depressed for more than ten years, and I was $100,000 in debt. At the young age of twenty-four, I’d already failed in six intimate relationships and seven businesses. I had no direction in life and was ready to kill myself.Something inside me urged me to attend a Personal Growth seminar and my transformation began almost overnight. I learned more in the four-day seminar about my life than I had in the previous twenty-four years, and right then and there, I devoted my life to Personal Growth. In a relatively short time I lost fifty pounds, the depression was gone, I was financially stable, and not only did I find the woman who is now my wife, I also found my purpose in life and was finally happy. Along with my business in Personal Growth, I continue to work on myself full-time.The Personal Growth movement requires action-taking a stand, like I did, for the truth that you’ve found. It took a little while for my close friends and family to really understand what I was doing with the Personal Growth movement, but once they did, my own Personal Growth continued exponentially.I’m asking you to experience the same thing. Invite your friends and family to join you in this incredibly powerful movement. If you’re willing to share your passions for Personal Growth with the people in your life, you will as a result have the opportunity to have a permanent positive impact on those you care about most. Once everyone around you is inside of the conversation, amazing things can happen. How are you a part of the Personal Growth movement?
